“Balance between city and country life!”
Our relationship with the Picone family started about 22 years ago. At that time we were the parents of 3 young children and we were looking for a house to rent in the country so our kids could enjoy what only a summer in the country can provide: the sights, the sounds, the smells, the wonder of life to be found outside of Manhattan or any other cityscape. All the Picone houses we have rented have all been: clean, well-furnished, with satellite TV, and reasonably priced. All the houses have been within a short walk to the Delaware River, one of the jewels of the east coast of the United States, clean, fresh, and federally protected. There are eagles soaring above, plenty of fish to catch within and there are many stretches where the river runs slowly, making it perfect for little kids. There is swimming in the deeper parts, tubing, rafting and kayaking or canoeing. Our children have spent all or part of their summers along the Delaware the invaluable memories built and we can't stress enough how important the balance that the Picone Family were able to provide us; the balance offered by the experience of both city and country life.

“Most treasured place to be!"
Our family has been vacationing in one of the Picone Family's cabins on the Delaware River every summer for the past 6 years. It has become our family's most treasured place to be. The cabin is beautiful, clean and Tiffany is very attentive to our needs. She is friendly and accommodating and makes us feel like this is our home during our stay. We enjoy the breathtaking views of the majestic Delaware River and watching the bald eagles soar by. We love to go canoeing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, and hiking and visiting the charming town of Callicoon for its parks, stores and favorite places to eat. We look forward to our time in the Delaware River Valley all year long.

The Hill House is very cozy, perfect for a group of people looking to spend a relaxing weekend. The house was very clean and welcoming, filled with board games and a pool table. The inside fireplace is very convivial as well as the bonfire outside. Perfect for cold nights.

“An unexpected gem"
An unexpected gem to find for our holiday weekend! Such a lovely property and cabin. The front porch was so relaxing and comfortable. The lawns were also an unexpected surprise - huge and great for frisbee! The house was also a great size, enough to fit the 6 people in our group and probably more! Great modern kitchen, a lovely back dining porch, awesome fire pit and comfortable furniture throughout!

My group had a wonderful time in this house! Tiffany was a great host and quick to respond with any questions I had. The house is cozy and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the game room with the pool & air hockey table as well as the nice outdoor deck with lounge chairs. We will definitely be returning to this house soon!!
